StopBox Pro/Compact BOGO Review: The Ultimate Defense Combo
Quick Verdict
The StopBox Pro/Compact BOGO bundle currently available at Buckeye Hunter Hub is, in my professional opinion, one of the most practical security investments for gun owners. At a sale price of $169—down from the $209 retail—you aren't just getting one storage solution; you are securing two distinct areas of your life: your home and your vehicle. It is a no-nonsense, mechanical solution for those who prioritize immediate access over electronic gadgetry.

Who Is This For?
This bundle is perfect for the hunter or homeowner who values quick-access storage that doesn't rely on batteries or biometrics. If you have a primary bedside handgun and a secondary carry piece that spends time in your vehicle, this is your complete package. It is designed for those who want to bridge the gap between home security and mobile travel security without breaking the bank.
Key Features & Build
The bundle includes the flagship StopBox Pro and the highly portable StopBox Pro Compact. Both units feature a robust mechanical design that eliminates the failure points associated with electronic locks. A standout addition to this deal is the included Security Cable, which allows you to tether your Compact unit to your vehicle seat frame or other structural points.
- Mechanical Reliability: No batteries to die, no codes to forget under stress.
- Dual-Purpose: Full-size protection at home, compact footprint for the road.
- Included Security: The free Security Cable adds an essential layer of anti-theft protection for your travel unit.
- Unified Aesthetic: Both units come in a sleek, matte black finish.
Real-World Use
In practice, the StopBox system shines in its simplicity. For the bedside, the full-size Pro is large enough to house your main defensive handgun and a spare magazine. The top-loading design allows for rapid access using the finger-indexed mechanical buttons.

Transitioning to the Compact unit, the portability is the real game-changer. Whether you are traveling for a hunt or commuting, having the Security Cable locked to your vehicle seat provides peace of mind that a standard glove box simply cannot offer. The intuitive nature of the locking mechanism ensures that once you have practiced the unlock sequence a few times, it becomes muscle memory.
Value for the Price
At $169, this bundle is a steal. Individually, the StopBox Pro and the StopBox Pro Compact are reliable, but buying them together creates a comprehensive ecosystem. By bundling them, you are getting two high-quality storage solutions plus the essential security cable for less than what most high-end electronic safes cost. If you look at the full shop, you will see that buying components separately often adds up quickly; this BOGO deal streamlines your setup costs significantly.

How It Compares
- vs. StopBox Pro/Pro BOGO: While the StopBox Pro/Pro BOGO offers two full-sized units, the Pro/Compact bundle is more versatile for those who spend time on the road.
- vs. Wall-Mounted Options: For those strictly needing stationary security, the StopBox Pro Ward is excellent, but it lacks the portability found in this BOGO bundle.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Exceptional value via the BOGO deal.
- Zero electronics means zero battery failures.
- Includes a security cable for mobile mounting.
- Intuitive, rapid access.
Cons:
- Available in Black only.
- Requires physical practice to master the locking sequence.
Final Recommendation
If you are looking to secure your firearms at home and on the move, the StopBox Pro/Compact BOGO is the best deal on the market right now. Don't leave your protection to chance—grab this bundle and secure your gear properly.
