Yardage to shoot for
Angle-corrected horizontal distance, the number that actually matters for your pin or holdover.
Vertical shot angle
See exactly how steep the shot is up or down, including your stand height.
Real terrain
Uses true ground elevation at both points, so hills and ravines are accounted for.
How it works
- 1Open the Map, tap Tools, then Shot Distance.
- 2Tap the map on your stand (or line up the crosshair and press Set stand).
- 3Tap where the animal will be, or press Check shot.
- 4Read your yardage and angle. Set your stand height under the dropdown for tree stands.
FAQ
It's a great backup when you forget or break your rangefinder, and perfect for ranging shooting lanes before season from home. Distances come from map coordinates, so for a live animal a laser rangefinder is still the most precise.
