How To Tie / Assemble
- 1Select a high-quality monofilament or copolymer line, as fluorocarbon sinks and will pull the nose of the lure downward.
- 2Pass your line through the line tie eyelet of the spook-style lure.
- 3Tie a simple overhand knot in the main line about 6 inches up from the end, but do not tighten it fully.
- 4Pass the tag end through the line eye and then back through the loop of the overhand knot.
- 5Wrap the tag end around the standing line 3-4 times and pass it back through the overhand knot loop.
- 6Lubricate the knot with water, pull the tag end and standing line simultaneously to cinch the loop to your preferred size, and trim the excess line.
