StopBox Pro BOGO Review: Double The Protection For Hunters

Quick Verdict

If you are looking for a reliable, no-battery-required storage solution, the StopBox Pro/Pro BOGO is arguably the best value proposition currently on the market. By paying $149, you essentially receive two flagship-level security units and a security cable. For hunters and vehicle-based defenders, this bundle eliminates the 'which room should I lock' dilemma by providing immediate coverage for two separate locations or vehicles.

Who Is This For?

This package is designed for the individual who values mechanical reliability over digital complexity. It is perfect for hunters who store a firearm in the truck while in the field and need a secondary unit for the nightstand at home. It is also an excellent option for couples or range partners who both require immediate, secure access to their defensive tools without the fear of dead batteries or forgotten passcodes.

Key Features & Build

The StopBox Pro is constructed to prioritize speed and security. Its core feature is the patented mechanical locking mechanism, which removes the need for batteries or electronics. This ensures that when you need access, the box performs—no cold weather failures and no 'forgotten' electronic failures.

• Mechanical Access: No batteries, no keys, no electronic failures.
• Dual Configuration: You get two full-sized StopBox Pro units.
• Security Cable: A free security cable is included to tether the units to immovable objects.
• Color: Available in a durable, matte Black finish.

Real-World Use

In practical application, the StopBox Pro excels in 'ready-access' scenarios. Because the mechanism is tactile, it is easy to master with minimal training. For a hunter, keeping one unit secured in the vehicle via the included cable provides peace of mind while parked at the trailhead. The second unit serves perfectly in a bedroom environment. Since the system is purely mechanical, you don't have to worry about the extreme temperature fluctuations often found in vehicle storage, which typically drain electronic safe batteries.

Value for the Price

The math here is straightforward. A single StopBox Pro typically retails at $149.99. Through the BOGO deal at Buckeye Hunter Hub, the package is priced at $149.00. You are essentially paying for one unit and receiving the second for free, along with the added value of the Security Cable. This is, without question, the most aggressive value in the current lineup.

How It Compares

The StopBox family offers a range of specific tools for specific needs:

• StopBox Pro Compact: Smaller footprint, best for extreme space constraints ($129.99).
• StopBox Pro Ward | Wall-Mounted: Purpose-built for permanent installation ($169.99).
• StopBox Pro/Compact BOGO: A hybrid bundle for those who want one full-size and one compact unit ($209).

While other bundles like the Pro/Compact offer versatility, the Pro/Pro BOGO provides the most 'bang for your buck' by doubling down on your primary storage capacity.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

• Unbeatable pricing: Get two for the price of one.
• No batteries or electronics required.
• Fast, tactile access for emergencies.
• Includes security cable for mobile tethering.
