Where to Set
Set on well-used trails, fence crossings, and brush tunnels where animals travel at a steady pace. Look for tracks, hair, and worn paths through pinch points.
How to Build It
- 1Identify an active trail or crawl-under at a fence or brush pinch point.
- 2Anchor the cable restraint to a solid stake, tree, or drag as required.
- 3Hang the loop at the correct height and diameter for the target species.
- 4Use support wire to hold the loop open in the center of the trail.
- 5Set the relaxing lock and required breakaway device, then brush in the anchor.
Bait & Lure
Typically a blind set on a trail, though a nearby gland lure can slow an animal at the loop.

Best Conditions
