- 1Slide your preferred soft plastic bait onto the offset worm hook until it is Texas-rigged weedless.
- 2Take the wire leader of the Tokyo Rig and slide your desired weight (cylinder or teardrop style) onto the wire.
- 3Use round-nose pliers to bend the end of the wire into a small, tight closed loop, ensuring the weight is captured securely.
- 4Tie your main fluorocarbon line to the main eyelet of the Tokyo Rig using a Palomar knot.
- 5Check that the wire leader hangs vertically from the hook eye so that your bait sits naturally above the sinker.
