Recommended Baits
Live Minnow on a Jigging Spoon
Provides natural scent and movement, perfect for enticing lethargic Walleye in cold water.
Soft Plastic Paddle Tail
Ideal for aggressive Crappie or Perch; the vibration mimics a fleeing baitfish.
Horizontal Tungsten Jig with Wax Worms
Small profile excels at triggering strikes from panfish when bite activity is low.
Large Tube Jig with Sucker Minnow
A heavy-duty setup specifically designed for targeting trophy Lake Trout or Northern Pike.
Rattling Blade Bait
Use to call in fish from a distance in stained water when light penetration is poor.
How To Use It
Lower the jig to the desired depth and maintain a tight line. Use rhythmic, short snaps of the rod tip to create an erratic darting motion, followed by a long pause to let the lure stabilize. Vary the intensity of your jigging cadence until you identify the activity level of the fish.
