THE NEXT GENERATION
BHH Youth Hunters Academy
The BHH Youth Hunters Academy hands the next generation the safety habits, woodsmanship, and mentors that keep hunting alive.

Hunting doesn't survive on tags and trophies. It survives on handoffs — the morning a kid finally sits still long enough to watch the woods wake up and decides it belongs to them too.
That handoff is the whole point of the BHH Youth Hunters Academy. It's our program for young hunters and the families raising them, built around the things that actually make a safe, ethical, confident hunter: muzzle discipline, shot selection, reading sign, field care, and the patience nobody is born with.
What young hunters learn
- Safety first, every time — firearm handling, treestand safety, and the habits that become reflex
- Woodsmanship — tracks, rubs, scrapes, droppings, and what the wind is telling you
- Shot discipline — anatomy, range, and the confidence to pass a shot that isn't right
- Field to table — respectful recovery, field dressing, and cooking what you harvest
- Conservation — why seasons, limits, and licenses exist, and how hunters pay for wildlife
For the mentors
Not every kid has someone to take them, and not every willing adult feels qualified to teach. The Academy exists in that gap — pairing young hunters with mentors, giving parents a curriculum to follow, and turning a first season into a lifetime.
If you had someone who took you, you already know what it was worth. Be that for somebody else.
