Quick Verdict
If you own a StopBox, the StopBox Motion Activated Light is arguably the most practical accessory you can add. It solves the fundamental problem of accessing your firearm in total darkness. Who It Is For
This light is designed specifically for current StopBox owners who store their firearms in their StopBox Pro, StopBox Pro Compact, or StopBox Pro Ward. If you keep your safe in a nightstand or a closet, you have likely experienced the frustration of fumbling for your grip in the dark. This product is for the defender who values speed and situational awareness.
Key Features & Build
The StopBox Motion Activated Light is a compact, battery-powered solution. It is explicitly engineered for ease of use, requiring zero wiring. Because it is motion-activated, it remains off until the moment the lid is opened, preserving battery life. The installation is straightforward, fitting discreetly inside the chassis of your unit to provide immediate illumination exactly where you need it.
Real-World Use
In testing, the light’s activation is instantaneous. When you unlock your StopBox, the interior is flooded with enough light to clearly identify your firearm’s grip. This prevents the common "fumble" that occurs when you are woken up in the middle of the night. It is a set-it-and-forget-it tool; you don't have to worry about flipping switches or managing complex electronic systems during a high-stress moment.

3-pack $22.95
Retailing at $38, it is already reasonably priced, but at the $28 sale price, it is a no-brainer. Compared to the cost of other StopBox accessories, this provides the most immediate tactical benefit. It is significantly cheaper than purchasing a high-end illuminated safe and offers better utility than a standard flashlight, which you would have to find and turn on manually.
Comparison to the StopBox Lineup
While the main StopBox units—including the popular StopBox Pro/Compact BOGO and StopBox Pro/Pro BOGO deals—provide excellent physical security, they rely on your ability to see the contents. Other accessories like the StopBox Universal Mag Carrier or Security Cable focus on storage organization and theft prevention. The Motion Activated Light is unique because it focuses on user interface and efficiency during the split-second window of retrieval.
