Quick Verdict
The StopBox Motion Activated Light is a simple, highly effective accessory that solves a fundamental problem: finding your firearm in the dark. If you already own a StopBox, adding this light is an easy decision, especially at the current sale price of $28. It provides immediate, clear visibility the moment your lid opens, removing any hesitation during a high-stress, low-light scenario.

Who Is It For?
This light is designed for anyone who uses a StopBox for home defense. Whether you keep a StopBox Pro next to your bed or a StopBox Pro Compact in a secure location, this accessory is for the user who values speed and clarity. It is perfect for those who want to ensure they can identify their firearm and grip it correctly without needing to turn on external lights that could give away their position.
Key Features & Build
The StopBox Motion Activated Light is built for simplicity. It is a compact, battery-powered unit that requires zero wiring. The motion activation is the standout feature; it triggers instantly when the lid opens. Because it mounts directly inside, it eliminates the need to fumble for switches. It’s a set-it-and-forget-it solution that prioritizes reliability over complex tech.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Extremely easy to install; no wiring needed; compact size; instant, bright illumination.

In a defensive situation, milliseconds matter. Fumbling in the dark because your eyes haven't adjusted is a liability. During testing, the light performed flawlessly. The moment the lid lifts, the interior of the unit is bathed in light, allowing for a perfect master grip on the firearm immediately. It is not just about seeing the gun—it is about seeing the sight picture and the controls of your firearm before you even need them.
Value for the Price
Normally retailing at $38, the current sale price of $28 makes this a no-brainer. It is an affordable investment in your own efficiency and safety. When you compare it to the cost of other Accessories, such as the Security Cable or the Universal Mag Carrier, this light offers perhaps the highest return on investment in terms of immediate utility.

Comparison to the StopBox Lineup
While the core StopBox units—including the StopBox Pro Ward and the various BOGO deals—are excellent security tools, they lack an integrated light source. The Motion Activated Light bridges this gap. It is specifically compatible with the Pro, Compact, and Ward models, making it the perfect companion upgrade.
