About This Lure
A weighted concave float above a leader and bait that pops to mimic feeding activity, a redfish and trout staple.
How To Fish It
Cast the rig toward grass lines, oyster bars, or shallow flats where redfish and trout hunt. Aggressively pop the rod tip to create a splashing sound that mimics a struggling baitfish, then allow the rig to sit still for several seconds. Most strikes occur during the pause as the lure slowly settles in the water column.
Retrieve Cadence
A steady 'pop-pop-pause' sequence, waiting 3-5 seconds between cycles.

Pro Tips
- Vary the length of your leader based on the depth; shorten it for shallower flats.
- Do not over-work the cork; often, less noise is better in calm conditions.
- Keep your rod tip high to maintain a straight line for better hook penetration.
- If the bite is slow, add a scent-based attractant to your soft plastic.
