About This Lure
A small stand-up mushroom jighead that pairs with a buoyant stick bait for the finesse Ned rig.
How To Fish It
Cast the Ned rig to rocky structure or weed edges and allow it to reach the bottom, letting the buoyant plastic stand straight up. Employ a slow, bottom-hugging drag followed by long pauses, as most strikes occur while the lure is completely motionless on the lake floor.
Retrieve Cadence
Slowly crawl the rig along the bottom with your rod tip for 3 feet, then deadstick the lure for 10 to 15 seconds before repeating the motion.

Pro Tips
- Always use buoyant plastic baits to ensure the tail floats upright during the deadstick pause.
- Avoid setting the hook like a traditional Texas rig; instead, simply reel into the fish until you feel weight.
- Shake the rod tip slightly during the pause to give the lure subtle micro-vibrations without moving it forward.
- Check your knot frequently, as the constant dragging over rocks can quickly fray your fluorocarbon leader.
