StopBox Pro/Pro BOGO Review: A Hunter’s Perspective

Quick Verdict

The StopBox Pro/Pro BOGO offer currently available at Buckeye Hunter Hub is arguably the most sensible investment for any firearm owner who values both quick access and mechanical security. By grabbing two units for $149—significantly down from the $199 retail price—you are essentially getting the industry standard for non-electronic rapid access storage at a massive discount. If you have been on the fence about securing your bedside pistol or keeping one in the truck, this is the deal to jump on.

Who Is This For?

This product is tailored for the hunter or shooter who understands that an emergency doesn't wait for batteries to be changed. If you are tired of fiddling with keypads, biometric scanners that fail with sweaty fingers, or keys that go missing, the StopBox Pro is designed specifically for you. Because this is a BOGO deal, it is ideal for those who need a secure storage solution for two separate locations—such as a primary home safe and a secondary vehicle console.

Key Features & Build

Unlike traditional safes, the StopBox Pro relies entirely on a patented mechanical push-button system. There are no batteries to die and no electronic circuits to fail. The build quality is robust, designed to keep unauthorized hands (especially children) away from your firearm while keeping it readily accessible to you. It is compact enough to fit in tight spaces but heavy-duty enough to provide meaningful deterrent security. The tactile interface allows for "eyes-off" operation, which is critical during high-stress scenarios in the middle of the night.

Real-World Use

In testing, the mechanical speed of the StopBox Pro is unmatched. In the field or at home, you need to know exactly how your gear will perform. The button configuration allows for a combination that only you know, ensuring that while the box opens in a split second for the owner, it remains a brick wall for everyone else. Whether mounted in a vehicle or kept on a nightstand, the unit feels solid and operates consistently every single time, regardless of temperature or humidity, which is a major advantage over electronic safes.

Value for the Price

At a price point of $149 for two units, the value proposition is hard to ignore. When you compare this to the standard StopBox Pro unit (priced at $149.99), the BOGO deal is effectively giving you a second unit for free. This is the most cost-effective way to outfit your home security setup.

How It Compares

• StopBox Pro Compact: Smaller footprint, better for extreme space constraints.
• StopBox Pro Ward | Wall-Mounted: Designed for permanent vertical mounting.
• Chamber Lock Pro: A different approach to security, focusing on the chamber rather than a storage box.

The BOGO deal stands out as the "best buy" in the Shop for anyone needing multiple storage points.
