Meet the Maker: Jeff Cote of SE Ohio Outdoors
At the Bench with Jeff Cote
There is a specific kind of quiet that follows a long day in the woods, the kind of quiet that usually leads to innovation. For Jeff Cote, the founder of SE Ohio Outdoors, that’s exactly where his journey began. Working from his shop, Jeff doesn’t see himself as a corporate manufacturer, but rather as a guy who saw a gap in the gear market and decided to fill it himself. Alongside his wife, Jeff started this project with a simple goal: to provide quality, functional accessories to the outdoor community without the inflated price tags often found in big-box stores.

The Craft of Purposeful Gear
When you buy from a maker like Jeff, you aren't just getting a piece of plastic or metal; you are getting a solution to a problem he likely encountered in his own treestand. SE Ohio Outdoors focuses on archery and saddle hunting accessories, a niche that demands durability and precision. By choosing to build these items by hand, Jeff maintains a level of quality control that mass-produced, overseas manufacturing simply can't touch. He understands that when you are twenty feet up in a saddle, you need your gear to work every single time. It is this focus on utility and accessibility that defines his brand.
The Euro Mount Hook: Simple, Effective, Essential
One of the standout pieces in Jeff's current lineup is the . If you have been looking for a clean, professional way to display your latest harvest, this is the solution. Crafted from high-quality ABS plastic, these mounts are designed to be both handy and incredibly effective, ensuring your hard-earned trophy is displayed securely.
Whether you are a seasoned taxidermy hobbyist or just finished your first successful hunt, the is a great way to preserve the memory of the field. Each piece is made to order, and because Jeff manages the process himself, you can expect a quick lead time of just 1-2 business days. It is affordable at $8.00, making it an easy addition to your gear room.
