Crafting Solutions: Meet Jeff Cote of SE Ohio Outdoors

From the Workbench to the Woods
There is a specific kind of quiet that fills a workshop when a maker is focused on solving a problem. For Jeff Cote, the founder of SE Ohio Outdoors, that workbench is where the frustrations of hunting logistics are turned into functional reality. Living and working in the heart of the U.S., Jeff didn't set out to build a corporate brand. He simply saw a gap in the gear available to the average outdoorsman.

"This project got started by my wife and I to help bring quality functional accessories to the outdoor community at reasonable prices," Jeff explains. It is that grounded, family-oriented approach that defines everything coming out of his shop. When you buy from Jeff, you aren't clicking through a nameless warehouse catalog; you are supporting a craftsman who understands that gear needs to work just as hard as the person using it.
The Craft of Practicality
There is a distinct difference between gear mass-produced in a factory and items crafted by hand. While mass production focuses on volume, Jeff focuses on application. Working with high-grade ABS plastic, he builds accessories designed to withstand the rigors of the field and the commute to get there.
Hand-built gear carries the nuance of someone who has actually used it in the field. When Jeff shapes these materials, he isn't just checking boxes on a specification sheet; he is refining tools for archery and saddle hunting enthusiasts who value efficiency. By keeping his operation nimble, Jeff ensures that every piece meets his personal standard, offering a level of attention that larger manufacturers simply cannot replicate.
Solving the Vehicle Chaos
We have all been there: you are driving to your spot, and your bow is sliding around on the floorboard or clattering against the center console. Jeff’s is the answer to that common headache. Constructed from durable ABS plastic, this hanger secures your bow in an upright position against the seat back, keeping it safe, accessible, and out of the way.
