How To Tie / Assemble
- 1Select a hollow-body frog and a 4/0 to 6/0 heavy-gauge EWG or specialized frog hook.
- 2Pass your braided line through the eye of the frog hook from the hook-point side.
- 3Wrap the tag end of the line around the shank of the hook 6-8 times.
- 4Pass the tag end back through the eye of the hook in the same direction it entered.
- 5Tighten the knot firmly against the hook eye, ensuring the line sits snugly against the shank.
- 6Thread the hook point through the frog's belly and tuck the point back into the designated hook slots on the back to make it weedless.

How To Use It
Cast deep into heavy cover or onto the bank and drag it off into the water. Use a 'walk-the-dog' retrieve with rhythmic rod twitches to make the frog glide side-to-side. Pause briefly in small pockets or holes in the vegetation, as this is when the strike usually occurs.
