A wide football-shaped head that stands the trailer up and resists snagging on rock. Best for deep, hard-bottom fish.

How To Fish It

Focus on dragging the jig slowly across hard, rocky bottoms or transition areas to feel every pebble or boulder. Use your rod tip to pull the bait along rather than reeling, keeping constant contact with the lake floor to trigger bites from deep-structure bass. When you feel the weight of the fish, perform a firm, sweeping hookset to penetrate the thick jig hook.

Retrieve Cadence

A slow drag for three seconds, pause for two seconds, followed by a sharp, short hop to mimic a crawfish.
