Review: Are Harvest Tags 3-Pack Worth Your Gear Bag?

Quick Verdict

If you are tired of makeshift paper tags disintegrating in the rain or blowing away during a field dress, the Harvest Tags — 3-Pack is a no-brainer. At $19.95, they offer professional-grade durability that keeps you legal without the frustration of traditional paper options. They earn our 'Best Value' badge for a reason.

Who It's For

These tags are designed for the serious hunter who prioritizes reliability in the field. Whether you are trekking through deep woods in a downpour or need a tag that stays legible after hours of pack-out, these are built for you. If you value staying compliant with state regulations without fumbling with messy, wet paper, this is your solution.

Key Features & Build

• Weatherproof Design: These tags are built to withstand the elements, ensuring your information remains legible regardless of conditions.
• Write-on Surface: Specifically engineered for easy, permanent marking.
• State-Compliant Fields: Every tag includes the exact fields required by state wildlife agencies.
• Convenient 3-Pack: Perfect for multiple tags per season, offering peace of mind if you harvest more than one animal.

Real-World Use

Nothing ruins a post-harvest moment like losing your documentation. In our testing, the material resists tearing and moisture significantly better than standard paper. They are easy to write on, even when your hands are cold, and they secure firmly to the carcass. You can focus on the field work knowing your tag isn't going anywhere.

Value for the Price

At $19.95, the 3-pack is priced competitively. While you can opt for a Single Tag for $8.95 or scale up to a 5-Pack for $29.95, the 3-pack sits in the sweet spot for most hunters. Plus, Buckeye Hunter Hub includes free shipping, which effectively lowers the cost compared to other retailers.

Comparison to the StopBox Lineup

While the StopBox Pro and StopBox Pro Compact focus on secure storage for firearms, the Harvest Tags address the field-side compliance side of the hobby. If you are already browsing the Shop for safety gear like the Universal Mag Carrier or a Security Cable, adding these tags to your order is an inexpensive way to complete your hunting kit.
