About This Lure

A hex-blade jig that vibrates hard and deflects off grass, combining crankbait vibration with jig snag resistance.

How To Fish It

Focus your casts around submerged vegetation, wood, or rock transitions in the 1-8 foot depth range. Aim to make the blade vibrate against the cover to trigger reaction strikes from predatory largemouth bass. Maintain consistent contact with the bottom or grass lines to maximize the erratic  hunting action of the bait.

Hunting & Shooting

Retrieve Cadence

Recommended Gear

7'0" medium-heavy power, moderate-fast action baitcasting rod paired with a 6.3:1 gear ratio reel and 15-20lb fluorocarbon line.

Pro Tips

  • Always use a loop knot if not using a snap to ensure the blade hunts properly.
  • Match your trailer to the water temperature; faster action trailers for warmer water and subtle trailers for cold fronts.
  • If the fish are short-striking, add a small stinger hook to the back of your trailer.
  • Retrieve the bait so it ticks the top of the grass; the moment it hits an obstruction is when you will get bit.
