I have been hunting archery for years. One of my favorite memories is on an opening day years ago. I was using someone else's bow cause mine wasn't available. So the draw length was too long for me. I was road hunting for a while then saw one on the side of the road. I hopped out and ranged it at 2p yards. I let the first arrow fly and missed. The buck took a couple steps. I lined up for a second shot and took it. "Thump". It sounded like I hit a log. He ran. He dropped maybe 50 yards away. The deer was dead. I hot him in the heart. Such a fun hunt.
