The Story

A few days after my birthday I got to hunt for cow elk on a depredation tag in the late season. I was using my trusty 7mm 08 which I had used to kill deer and elk for years. We got onto the herd in a farm field and I was able to take two cows down from 580 yards away. I used multiple shots but they went down. Probably my favorite hunt ever.
